Please Please Please do not order from this company! I ordered the free trial, which took nine days, then they sent me a three months supply at around 168.00. When I tried the free trial and it didnt work(of course), I went to send the rest back. First the product comes without any paperwork, contact numbers ect at all. So had to go through my credit card reiepts to find a number. After waiting on hold for hours, they rudely informed me it was a free trial…Not a free product..even though I didnt even use the other bottles. So I sent it back anyway and finally after a few weeks the reimbursed my card but only for 2 months..WTF? As well when you initially order the product they sign you up for an additional monthly charge of course for some sort of weight management plan. Again you do not realize this because it does not come with any paper work or “planning guides” . To cancel this I had to call a different number and wait on hold again. this they didnt reimburse me for because apparently I just should have known and none of it is their problem. Because of shams like this I will NEVER order another “free trial” again or buy a product like this online. And hindsight being 20/20 I will always read others reviews first. Talk about feeling cheated!!!

not only do they charge you a lot, they keep charging you. the product doesnt work and i had constant stomach cramps the whole time i took them. i returned some of the products and they wont refund all my money

Ditto problem with me, ordered the 99 Cent trial and did not see the 10 days or 90 dollar charge acrues. Company is legal, they make sure of that, but just not ethical. I would not try to sue, just cut your losses and learn from the experience.

Karla, thanks for the great idea. I was lucky to read these postings before placing an order for Acaipure, so I am relieved to not have to experience what others have been subjected to. I’m always hesitant to purchase products from smaller companies because I’m concerned that my card will be compromised in some form or fashion. I am grateful to be spared and wish the best for those working to resolve their billing issues.

Ok guys- DO NOT ORDER this product! First, it does not work & second, they word the fine print to be misleading & now they say I owe them 89.99 for an original 4.95 trial bottle. I refuse to pay it so now it will be sent to a collection agency. I have AAA credit & now something this stupid is going to tarnish it. What to do?
I cancelled by credit card immediately after ordering, but they still want my money.
Guess they know their product doesn’t work so the only way they can make money is by ripping people off.

Watch out for the fine print! You will be charged the auto pay if you don’t cancel w/in the 14 day period. I did not catch the fine print. The auto pay is in microscopic print on your first statement. You will have a VERY DIFFICULT time getting your money back if you do not folows THEIR guide lines. I certainly did not think I was treated fairly. I would never do business with this company again. I think a good company with a good product would be very direct and CLEAR and UP FRONT with their policies (not have to make their money by hiding their terms and conditions in teeny tiny print). By the time I caught the charge, it was too late. When I called customer service I got the impression they had alot of compliaints, it did not seem to bother them to loose a customer, they just wanted your money. Aren’t all compnies after life long customers. Word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Yeah, like most people, i was dumb enough to not read the terms. I ordered the pill yesterday, then an instant charge of 1.95 was on my account. Then I deicided to go and see what others think about the product and the site. I saw that this site was a scam. Not more than 30 minutes after I ordered the pills, i canceled the bank card and I am waiting on a nes one. If anyone reads this, can you please tell me if my cancellation of my card will stop this scam or not. I hope someone answers and if you are also a victim who ordered this product then cancel your bank card right away whether you ordered it five minutes ago or last month.

I have also tried this AcaiPure CRAP.
I have sent them back the bottle with pills and sent numerous emails to cancel, MONTHS AGO like in December. & ONLY NOW…they email me telling me that I owe them money.
(I canceled my card after I got my Trial cause I wasn’t reading the fine print until after I purchased it)

Now, I am feuding with this lady name Kathleen Collins, she doesn’t understand what I am saying and is saying that I never returned the bottle and that I owe them 60 dollars. I am quite mad because I tried to cancel this 6+ months ago. SO RIDICULOUS, i say.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR SITE, just buy from EBAY, so much cheaper and easier to handle.

Most diet pills on the market are a scam but I found a way to make sure I do NOT get over charged. I buy a gift card Visa in the amount I need to purchase merchandise on the internet. You can get these at any grocery store. When the company tries to add addition charges they are denied because there is no more money on the card and I already have my merchandise. Try it you won’t feel so bad when the diet pill doest work cause trust me Ive tried them all.

You know, two days after I got the sample, the regular product came (from China) and my bank account was debited $79.75 for a monthly supply, with a threat for the same to happen in the future, each and every month if I didn’t cancel within fifteen days. I did cancel, but I am anticipating more problems. You are lucky and it appears someone with not much compassioin. Maybe your should work for Acai Pure. I also had to go to my bank manager and change my account. I was luckly, my bank covered my loss.

This is very deceiving. The ad makes you think you are getting a free trial for the price of shipping and handling. The company charges your credit card $39.95 for your free trial, even after you cancel.

I got charged 79.99 for a “free trial” as well. I called today to cancel, so I hope they really do cancel the account. The product didn’t work at all. They say a 14 day trial but nothing can be seen in just 14 days anyway, so that in itself is a scam and unethical.

This product DID NOT WORK at all for me. Not only that, but I found the “free trial” was not a free trial at all. My card was charged 79.99 and when I called about it I was told that I had 14 days to cancel. If after 14 days I would be charged the full price of the product. 14 days is not enough to find out if it works, but the company refused to give any refund for what was supposed to have been a free trial product. Don’t be fooled by this company! It is not a customer friendly company at all. The customer service rep I spoke to was rude and cut me off before just hanging up on me.

They sent me the product after I tried to cancel. They were rude on the phone. I have followed all their instructions. I have returned the product. I got their special RMA #. I have already paid for all the shipping and handling in both directions on my credit card. Now I have to wait and see if this scam is really over or if it will continue. I am very angry. I talked with customer service. I asked to speak to a manager. There wasn’t one. The next highest person was the owner and I was told that he doesn’t take phone calls. Wonder why?

I don’t want to have to cancel my credit card to get them from sending and I too have cancelled and called every number in the book to do so. It seems you can check in with these people but you can not check out! What a rip off!

This company is dishonest. I did not see the fine print they tell me. I had someone call and try to sell me another product. When I asked if it would be shipped automatically they said yes and I told them that I wanted to stop the original product as well. They hung up on me. The second time that I talked to them they gave me a cancelation number. I was charged for the original shipment. When I attempted to question the charge they insinuated I wasn’t very bright and should have read the advertisement more carefully. I am putting a stop on any further charges from them after reading the comments on the website..BEWARE OF ACAIPURE anf their business practices.

all of these products are a scam for the amount of money they charge you. if you don’t RETURN the product within 14 days, you get the full charge. you don’t get to TRY the products for 14 days. you are much better off getting into a legitimate program of diet and exercise than this CRAP!!!!!

Thank God I read this. I did send away for the trial deal, I asked several questions to the person I talked to, as I am on some pretty strong meds. and they assured me it would be fine. After reading what you people have to say, they just told me what I needed to hear, to try it.Now I can see they are not to be trusted.I have cancelled my debit card and packaged the stuff back up and they can keep the money that they got off from me so far and they will get no more. How hard is it for you people to read the Terms and conditions? I went to the website to try and give the company a chance to maybe not be a scam. The terms and conditions clearly describe all of the charges that you guys are seeing and they are right on the page where you put your card info in. I don’t understand how you think your being scammed if they company is telling you about the charges before you sign up. I understand now why you guys need acai to lose weight, especially if you are to lazy to read a few sentences before putting you whole identity out on the internet.
