Is Accomplix H20 Safe for Weight Loss?

Accomplix H20 is a “water-balancing compound” made by Advanced Pharmaceuticals.  It is advertised as a “valuable tool for anyone who is experiencing water retention.”  Most particularly, it markets itself to women experiencing some pre or post-menstrual bloating but is also said to be effective for water retention in men.  It is obvious this isn’t fat loss, but perhaps a few pounds of water weight.  Is this a healthy way to look better?

This product is basically a potent mix of diuretics (substances that make you urinate more frequently).  These include…

This is a proprietary blend, so the specific concentrations of the ingredients are unknown but they amount to a total of 3500 mg plus a few other vitamins like potassium, B-6, and magnesium.  These ingredients will definitely make you urinate more, so be ready for that.  You may experience a few pounds of water weight loss temporarily, but this product should not be used regularly and is not a viable option for long-term fat loss.

The simple fact is that $30 is too much to pay for a handful of diuretics.  There is nothing to say that this will work to improve your appearance at all and is not a treatment for edema.  If you are looking for an effective and healthy way to lose weight, look somewhere else.
