advanced-acaiWill Advanced Acai Help You Burn Fat?

Advanced Acai is an acai berry based weight loss supplement that cliams to “help burn body fat, boost your metabolism, and control your appetite.” There are so many acai products on the market that don’t work and are nothing but scams. Is Advanced Acai different from the hundreds of other acai berry products? Lets find out.

Advanced Acai Ingredients

Acai Berry is the main ingredient in Advanced Acai. This purple berry is grown in the Amazon rainforest. It is one of the most potent anti–oxidants available but, that is the only thing we know about it for sure. Advanced Acai’s claim of acai berries burning fat, beautifying the skin, and promoting better sleep have yet to be proven. Acai berry is not a miracle ingredient like so many claim. Advanced Acai also contains Green Tea, ChromeMate, Raspberry Ketones, Ginseng Extract. The problem is they do not list the mg amount of each tablet or the individual ingredient amounts. They are most likely trying to hide the low concentration of active ingredients in Advanced Acai.

How Much Is Advanced Acai?

Advanced Acai claims to offer a “free trial”, but this offer is anything but free. After 14 days (unless you cancel and return the bottle) they charge your credit card $69.99 + S&H for the free trial bottle. How is that “free”? They also sign you up for a monthly auto-shipment of Advanced Acai and will not refund you a single penny. “All sales are final.” Does this sound like a trustworthy company to you?

Advanced Acai Conclusion

I definitely do NOT recommend Advanced Acai. You are not going to see significant weight loss from this product and this company is trying to scam you out of money everyway they can. Do NOT get tricked into buying Advanced Acai.

My credit card was stolen and the advance acci was charged to my account, in the amount of 76.00. This company is a rip-off as this product was never ordered or received by me. And they make it impossible to contact them to get your money back. After contacting the Better Business Bureau about their what happen they insist they will continue to charge me 76.00 a month regardless. I told a friend about this who stated this is the worst product that anyone would every use. It causes sever gastro bleeding and bloating, nausa, headaches, and it lower’s your immune system and you feel as though you have the flu, If you miss one pill you get so hungry it defeats your weight loss issue. Ladies and Gents there is NO Diet in bottle NONE, NADA, Zich…I was 300 lbs and I continue to eat what I want, I just got MOTIVATED and walked every day and drink more water and less sugar I am now a health 150, 5″7 female. that took 7 mos. NO SUGAR is the trick. Eating what I want in smaller portions without counting calories. NO SUGAR, NO PILLS ,EXERCISE ADVANCE ACCI IS A RIPOFF..THIEF AND FAT LIAR…

Don’t buy Acai Advanced this product doesn’t work. They don’t pick up the phone for hours if you want to cancel. You get charged by other company’s that you don’t get anything from. Take time to research. Dozens of complaints.

This statement is true. I had blood in my stool, went to my doctor, took the pills I was taking with me and he told me to immediately stop. I had been taking the pills for ony 3 days when this happen. I’ve been trying to contact the number provided on the invoice to cancel since that time. These people are a rip off and they need to be closed down. I think a class action lawsuit should be filed immediatley.

    This i a total ripoff.
I requested the free trial with only a $5.95 shipping charge.
I received the order on June 22,2009 2 days later I had a charge for $24.95 on my charge card that they said was for a membership I did not agree to.When I called to complain they said they would cancel and refund the money. They have about 3 different phone numbers.I was told i would have no other charges on my account.
and everything was cancelled. I checked my credit card account a couple of days later and i had another charge of $64.95 on my account.I called and called and got nothing but a busy signal. My credit card company called and the same thing ,we could not reach them.Today July 1 i finally reached customer service and talked to the same person that said everthing was cancelled and there would be no other charges to my account. They had charged my account the very day i had cancelled. She informed me it was because i did not return the bottle that i thought was free within 20 days. I had just recieved it 2 days before cancelling and was not told to return the bottle.I have searched and serched the paperwork i received with shipment. No where does it state i will be charged the $64.95.it does state the membership needs to cancelled within 20 days. But they that starts the day you order not the day you receive the merchandise. They refuse to credit my account with the Membership of $24.95 and the $64.95.I even talked to a supervisorBill (he rsaid he was not authorized to give his last name) He also refused to give any credit and stated there was no one that could.
Beware they obviously use your credit card information to charge bogus and unauthorized cahrges.I am going to contact the BBB and my local TV consumer Hot line Division and I suggest anyone that hashad this problem do the same.Do not order from Acai Advanced.

This product is such a scam. I used it per the directions, drank 6 yo 10 - 9 oz bottles of water per day, did 1 hour of cardio 6 days a week and 30 minutes of wieght training 3 times a week and did not lose a single pound. I gained 5. When I called to cancel, I got the run around about extending the trial, so I did extend it, twice. As intended, I forgot the newest date by which I was to call, yet again, to cancel my order, Low and behold, the VERY next day there is a charge on my bank for $79.95 and now that they have scammed 80 bucks out of me, they are willing to cancel my order, no questions asked

I am usually not a person to try a “free product” for the price of shipping. I did this time because some local people had tried it. I have about 10 pounds to lose and thought this would help with the exercising I do.

Boy what a mistake!!! I got the product- tried it for a week and didn’t see a difference so when calling to cancel- line was busy forever- when I did get through- the rep claimed they couldn’t hear me and hung up - 3 different times. I called early this morning after seeing that the $89.90 came out of my account. They claim they have cancelled the “accounts” but will not give a refund. never again!

I ordered Advanced Acai. When I received the bottle it listed Chronium as the first ingredient. Somewhere at the bottom it mentioned acai. But the big issue is it uses caffene for energy boost! I took no more than two pills to start and then one a day, not three, the side effects were couldn’t sleep until after midnight and was so thursty I drank 6 to 8 quarts of water a day. After a week of that I had gained 5 more pounds of water weight and was so swelled I couldn’t even get my wrist watch on! It took 4 days off of Advanced Acai to relieve the excess water retension. I have not even begun to fight to cancell the agreement.

I just received two bills on my credit card statement charging me $24.95 anf $64.95 for products not received and DO NOT want. I will not pay them! This is a SCAM personified again and again.

This is a real rip-off!!!!!! The Acai bills make me sick after taking it for two days. I called with in the 15 day trial period every day for five days, they put me on hold then cut the line off. When I finally got through they won’t reverse the $89.90 they charged to my credit card.

    This is fraud!!!!!!!!!

  13. July 22, 2009 at 12:35 am

I was so upset to learn that this product was a disgusting scam. I take a very natural approach to health, and after working out for months with no result, I thought for the first time in my life, I will give diet pills a try, despite my instincts and knowledge.

What everyone has said above is true. It is such a shame. Not only is the product a joke, but it absolutely blows me away that people can conduct this sort of business and not be sued. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

THis is a SCAM! You pay $5.95 for shipping and handle to recieve the free trial then in 2 weeks they charge you $65.95 then they charge you $75 more in less then a month with a product you have not recieved yet. Then you call and tell them to cancel……too bad your other is on the way and we can’t take it back. THe product to me did nothing. I said I will just refuse the item she said you can refuse it but you still pay for it. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!!!!! no refunds so I canceled and remember when you order the free trial you auotmatically sign up for a year subscription.

did any one ever find a phone number to contact the company directly and not customer support? i tried the free trial period thinking i would not be charged if i didnt like the product. i have talked to the customer service people about a refund and i am not within the 15 day time frame to cancel. i missed that part of the argreement. the account has been cancelled thank goodness but i would like a refund.

This is a fraud and I hope BBB will investigate this company and authorities shut it down. I ordered a free sample online and paid 5.95 for shipping. After placing this order, I realized that I will not be able to test it and return within 20 days if I am not satisfied wit it because I was leaving for vacation in Europe. Thus, I called immediately to the Customer Service to cancel my order. A very nice young man suggested that instead of canceling my order, he will expand the trial period and there will be no action taken until further notice from me. Alas, they charged my credit card $24.95. When I called to ask what this charge was for, a very rude customer service representative (Erica) said that this is non-refundable charge for access to their website. I explained the situation and asked her to read me a note in my account made by another agent, she refused. I asked to speak with her supervisor, the answer was: “I am here alone”, I asked for the name of her supervisor and for the name of the head of the company, she refused to provide these names. I requested cancellation of everything. Reluctantly she supplied me with cancellation numbers for two products (I have no idea what was the second product) and now I have to send the “test” bottle back (on my expense) to avoid further charges. My advice is to stay away from this company if you do not want to be charged endlessly for the products and services you do not receive.

I was ripped off too. This is a scam. You get the free trial and they keep sending it at 79.00 It does not work. You can’t get a hold of these people. I first saw this on a website where Rachel Rey was for this stuff. They also had a womans testimonial That said she was Jenny Daniels from the town I’m from. I saw her on another acai berry website and her name was Michelle P. The same picture and every thing. What A JOKE!!!!!Do not get This1111111111111111111111

I received a 14-day free trial of this product, unfortunatly I forgot to cancel my subscription within 14 days. So I called about 5 days. The lady on the other end could care less if I did not even open the bottle. She was still going to charge me the $87.55. I would not except her reply. So she said I would be refunded $40.00 of
this amount. The very next day I was billed to my account $87.55. May I ask what
would anyone else that has been ripped off by this scam of a company suggest
that I do next? I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks Anna

I too had a bad experience with this company and I can not believe that Oprah and Rachel Ray stand behind a product that doesn’t work and an unethical company who’s only goal is to sell pills regardless of whether the customer is satisfied with the product or the experience with that company.
My account was charged BEFORE one week of receipt of product. I was not given the two full weeks to try the product. Who in there right mind is going to know after one week if the product is going to work. It did not work for me. I had an additional charge a few days later for a program I did not sign up for. I did get both cancelled and was provided confirmation numbers for both but I’m waiting to see if they continue to charge my account. Even if they are being paid a whole lot of money, to endorse this product, Oprah and Rachel need to do some research before THEY associate their names to an unsavory company and product. After this experience I’m seeing them a bit differently. People look up to them and trust their opinions. For me…..NOT ANYMORE MORE!

  22. August 16, 2009 at 8:24 pm

I too have been scammed. I’ve been charged $64.95 for the Vit-Acai Advanced that I never received and $24.95 for the Vit-Live Lean AA that I never received. I understand the $5.95 for the S & H for the Free Sample, but this is ridiculous

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! This product does NOT work. I ordered the product, with the free-trial, and was totally unsatisfied with the results.
1)The Colon Cleanse, which is recommended, does not work. It does not break down the fecal matter in your colon as a cleanser is supposed to. I did everything the “directions” said to do, including eating only fruit for breakfast. For two days I did not have a bm. It wasn’t until the third day, with lots of water and Apple Cider Vinegar that I finally used the rest room. No weight loss occured at all.
    2) When I called to cancel, my “free-trial” was extended another 2 weeks. One day after the two weeks was up, my checking account was hit with an $80 charge. When I called to inquire, they told me that they would cancel my order and refund me 40% of the cost. That never happened.
    3) THE MAIN INGREDIENT IS CHROMATE, NOT ACAI. And there isn’t an appetite suppressant in Chromate.
    4) The actual Acai pills give you INSOMNIA and does NOTHING for appetite.

I purchased ANOTHER colon cleanse, and THE SAME DAY had results. This company should be reported and the product be removed from the market ENTIRELY!

Hi Gloria, I could’nt agree with you more reguarding your experiance with advanced acai. Their product sucks. They will rip you off. Their customer service will not help you recoup your losses. I personally experianced this for myself and will never buy there products again. I strongly recommend that any one looking into purchasing Advanced Acai, DON’T DO IT.

This company is a dishonest firm. Do not get swindled by their lies.

I was taken in by their “free” offer and I am now fighting the charges.

Report this company to your State Attorney General’s Office and the Better Business Bureau in your area.

I too have just been scammed. I ordered this product and I took it as directed. I have not lost any weight. They only thing I have lost is my money. According the the lady I spoke to your “free” trial period starts the day that you order it. Which I didn’t receive it for 6 days after I ordered it. My 14th day would have been tomorrow, when I called they said I was a day late. When I argued she told me to read the terms and conditions, I did while she was on the phone and nothing she said was in them, but she wanted to argue and say that it was. She finally agreed to cancel the order and to only refund me $40 of the $79.95 I was charge and to not ship me any future orders. She also said I DO NOT have to send back the bottle I have. I guess I have to wait and see if they keep making charges on my card. If so I will retain a lawyer.

I ordered this product with it’s supposed free trial also! I wish I had read this page first!! After 8 days of taking the product, I called to cancel. All I was told was that if I didn’t return the bottle within 30 days I would be charged for it. Low and Behold, today I have a charge for $79.95 on my credit card from some company I never heard of “DietSlmDown” I plan to fight this with my credit card company. I have Visa which is supposed to be very good about fighting fraudulent charges. Wish me luck!!

I took the product and lost weight! I am angry because I have not been able to get another bottle.

It works for me. I am not hungry but I do notice that I get headaches now that I ran out of the product.

I am anxious to get my next bottle. At first, I was annoyed but keep taking the whole bottle.

  30. October 9, 2009 at 8:55 am

This is a rip-off! I was doubled charged 79.95. They claim they have nothing to do with diets lmdown, but they do. They are going to be forcing people to get new credit cards.

BEWARE! The product isn\’t bad at all, but the marketing leaves much to be desired. I ordered the product on 9/13 and it was shipped 9/14. I received it 9/25.
I\’ve used it and it does seem to make a difference in energy level. But I knew I wouldn\’t be able to manage the $70 at this time. So I called and spoke to “Charlene” on 10/2/09. Charlene offered to extend the trial until 10/12/09 at which time I could call and cancel or order more. I called back today and was told that “Charlene” had made no entry into my file and that I had been billed today for $79.95. I told them that I had understood that the offer was to be extended. He said it had not been extended, but that he could send RMA information and that I would be charged a $20 restocking fee. I told him he was out of his mind. I hung up and called my bank to have the transaction cancelled.

This product is a scam and so is their membership. You will not loose weight and they will hook you for extra product and refuse to return your money. I took the acai advanced as advised and did not loose one lb after 2 weeks. The next thing I know there is another bottle in the mail. I called to cancel the pills and the website which i did not join. When I explained to the representative that i had not lost a lb and wanted to return the product and get a credit they said they could not do that. I have not even opened the second bottle. I just want my credit card debited.
