What is Atro-Phex?

ATRO-PHEX, a diet pill sponsored by the super-hot Jennifer Nicole Lee, claims to be “the most powerful mood, well-being, energy, thermogenic and physical and cognitive performance formula in history.”  Wow, in history?  What about the stuff that Ghenghis Khan was taking as he conquered all of Asia?

Okay, but seriously, could this be true?  I mean, it is up there in being on of the more expensive product of its kind at $65 per package, but will it get you looking like JNL?

ATRO-PHEX Formula

Okay, first of all you should know that this is one of those products that makes up so many stupid and confusing names for their “proprietary blends” that it is difficult if not impossible to figure out what is in it and in what concentrations.   What follows is a smattering of what is in this pill, but to warn you, there is very little evidence that most of this stuff will help you with weight loss…

• Caraway Plant
• Swertia Chirata
• Razberi-k (Rasberry Ketones)
• N-Acetyl-Tyrosine-Ethyl-Ester Monohydrate
• Sulbutiamine
• Vinburine
• Vinpocetine
• 5-Triphosphate
• 7-Keto
• Dicana

So if there are any ingredients I would point out as effective it would be the common green tea as well as raspberry ketones, 7-Keto, and 5 HTP.  These have some legitimate evidence to suggest they help you burn fat.  Most of these ingredients have at least something to do with metabolism or weight loss, but very few are held up by any research and their concentrations are not listed to give us a real idea of what effect they will have.

ATRO-PHEX Conclusion

This product has a massive amount of hype and advertising around it and is marketed by a pretty successful company, but it really doesn’t prove itself as a real competitor in weight loss.  It just confuses a potential buyer with pictures of Jennifer Nicole Lee and overly-complicated proprietary blends.  It is not clear that this product will work and is very unlikely to be worth the money.
