As a customer browsing nutritional supplements on the internet, I feel overwhelmed. I have tried numerous products and each time I feel like I have to complete a thesis project’s worth of research before I can be confident about my decision. The good thing is that I have learned a great deal about a variety of products and the industry as a whole.
After a while, it becomes quite easy to spot the low quality products fairly quickly. BPI makes a variety of nutritional supplements and they seem to direct them towards weight lifters and strength training in general. Their 1MR product comes in both capsule and powder form and the name stands for 1-More-Rep. It is a fitting name, as the amount of caffeine in 1MR should provide the average weight lifter with at least that. However, categorizing this product as a fat burner is outlandish. It contains mostly ingredients that are found in protein and muscle-building supplements, such as Creatine.
There is no doubt that taking this supplement will give you an energy boost, but it will be stimulant-based and will be followed by an energy let down. If you are looking for a quality fat burner, you really do not want caffeine to be a main ingredient. Many people are hypersensitive to stimulants, like caffeine, and can experience unwanted side effects.
It also acts as a diuretic, causing the body to lose water weight and become dehydrated. This results in the appearance of a good deal of weight lost, but it comes right back just as quickly after you stop taking the pill.
BPI
The language developed by BPI, which is used to sell this pill on various supplement websites, severely lacks any concrete arguments for the effectiveness of 1MR. They make simple, repetitious claims that they do not back up with any facts or scientific evidence. The ‘about us’ section on the BPI Sport website is embarrassingly lacking.
Their site is also missing any discussion of a money back guarantee and that is one of the most important attributes of a diet pill website. They give no hint as to their shipping policies until you are ready to check out with your order. This seems like a sketchy place to make your diet pill purchases.
1MR
When taken in either the capsule or powder form, 1MR can provide a nice boost of energy and suppress your appetite. This can be a great product for strength trainers to take before a work out. Giving 30-45 minutes for the boost to kick in will likely improve your rep count in your standard weight lifting workout. Plus, it contains good muscle enhancing ingredients like Creatine.
But, paying the high price just is not worth it for a little caffeine energy boost. Billing it as an effective fat burner is simply false and misleading. For this kind of money, you can find excellent fat burner products that contain much higher quality ingredients. If you are mainly interested in losing weight by burning fat, take your money elsewhere.
