Is Coloflush Really a Scam?

Coloflush is 'another' supplement that gained popularity when it was supposedly 'mentioned' on 'Oprah'. Let's set the record straight. Oprah never endorses any product. Oprah never mentioned Coloflush . Do you think she, in all her goodness, would endorse a product that is tricking people into trying their 'free trial' then being billed hundreds of dollars? I don't think so, and shame on Coloflush.

What are the Coloflush Ingredients?

Psyllium - Psyllium contains a high level of soluble dietary fiber promoting healthy digestion and is being studied for its potential lipid-lowering and "heart health promoting" effect

Acitvated Willow Charcoal is used to relieve pressure caused by excess gas in the stomach and intestines, diarrhea, and indigestion.

Fennel Seed - The major chemical compound found in fennel, terpenoid anethole, is believed responsible for fennel's ability to inhibit spasms in smooth muscles such as those in the intestinal tract. This is thought to contribute to fennel's use as a carminative, a gas-relieving and gastrointestinal tract cramp-relieving agent.

Bentonite Clay - Bentonite clay, has been increasingly used as a simple but effective internal cleanser to help in preventing and alleviating various health problems.

Flax Seed - Flax seed is rich in lignan, a type of phytoestrogen (antioxidant) and also provides fiber. Recent studies also showed positive benefits of flax seed oil in IBD (Crohn's Disease and Colitis). It seems to be able to heal the inner lining of the inflamed intestines. Additional benefits of flax seed include lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (the Bad cholesterol) levels, lowering blood triglyceride and blood pressure.

Apple Pectin - Research in Japan supports that apple pectin can also decrease the chances of colon cancer. Apple pectin helps maintain intestinal balance by cleansing the intestinal tract with its soluble and insoluble fibers.

Slippery Elm Bark - While there has been little scientific research on slippery elm, it has a long history of use based on clinical experience. Some of the conditions that seem to respond to slippery elm include Gastritis, peptic ulcer, and other gastrointestinal conditions. This herb is thought to work for such intestinal problems because of its demulcent properties, which means that it coats and soothes the digestive tract. Marshmallow Root Both the root and the leaf of the marshmallow plant contain a substance known as mucilate which gives it the ability to soothe irritation of the mouth, throat and stomach. It has also been linked to treatment of indigestion and Gastroesophageal reflux disease.

The Coloflush Free Trial

I really hope you don't think that you are getting Coloflush for free. Seriously. If you didn't read the fine print, you are in for a world of headache. Take a look at the Coloflush fine print:
By clicking RUSH MY ORDER, you agree to our full terms here and to enroll in a 14-day Free Trial Offer where you receive 1 bottle of Colo Flush (30 day supply). Your credit card will be charged only the selected S&H charge above. If Colo Flush is not right for you, call 1-866-225-1334 within 14 days from your order date to cancel your trial and you owe nothing more. Otherwise, do nothing and at the end of your 14 day trial, you will be automatically enrolled into our Home Delivery Plan and your credit card will be charged $78.88 for the bottle you received. Approximately 30 days from your original order date (and every 30 days thereafter), you will be sent a new monthly supply of Colo Flush & your credit card will be billed $78.88 plus $4.99 S&H (FL residents add sales tax). You may call 1-866-225-1334 anytime to cancel your enrollment or modify the frequency of your shipments.
And that is the SHORT version. The long version is like 5 pages long and absolutely crazy. Take a look at some of the things they include:
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PURSUE DISPUTES ON A CONSOLIDATED OR CLASSWIDE BASIS; THAT IS, TO EITHER JOIN A CLAIM WITH THE CLAIM OF ANY OTHER PERSION OR ENTITY, OR ASSERT A CLAIM IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF ANYONE ELSE IN ANY LAWSUIT, ARBITRATION, OR OTHER PROCEEDING.
We each agree not to pursue arbitration on a consolidated or classwide basis. We each agree that any arbitration will be solely between You and AWR (not brought on behalf of or together with another individual’s claim). If for any reason any court or arbitrator hold that this restriction in unconscionable or unenforceable, then this agreement to arbitrate does not apply and the dispute must be brought in court

How Much is Coloflush?

Coloflush will cost you $78.88 plus shipping. You have 14 days to try Coloflush. That 14 days begins when you order - so if it takes 7 days for it to arrive, you are down to 7 days on your trial. Good luck.

Do I Recommend Coloflush?

No way on this green earth. There are tons of other weight loss aids, fat burners, and colon cleansers out there. I wouldn't touch Coloflush. You should really steer clear of free trials. Why? Take a look at these complaints:
Advanced Wellness Research Complaints - have not recieved product
Advanced Wellness Research Complaints - OVERCHARGED! SCAM
Advanced Wellness Research, Inc - Fraudulent charges

I didn't have to look hard to find those, and trust me, there are many more.

ColoFlush does not work. I used it and my stomach was in knots after 1 week. It seemed great at first but it caused me terrible stomach pain. Also, it is a scam. I ordered a “free” 2 week trial from the ColoFlush website and they sent me a 30 day supply and did not specify anywhere on the packaging that I had to send it back in 2 weeks if I did not want to keep the pills. I was charged $78 for a product that does not work! Do not buy ColoFlush, it is a SCAM!!

I am trying to cancel the order and I can not get a real person on the phone.
They used a video of Kati Curric to make it look as if she supported their product.

How do I stop them from billing my credit card and shipping me more?

My stomach began hurting as well after taking the colo flush. Now they possibly are using a new name on the product.

This is absolutely a SCAM , couldn’t put it any plainer…They absolutely will not take the product back even if the bottle has not been opened. I unfortunately did not see the fine print if in fact it was there or I would not have paid to get the blasted stuff. Thank goodness I didn’t try it based on what others have said at this point. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company so I’ll see what happens. What a RIP-OFF COMPANY this is !!

In April, I responded to the add for a free trial supply of ColoFlush. I did not completely read the fine print before I sent the request. I received the product within a few days of my request and immediately did not want to use the product. I called the company and “cancelled” any further shipment of the product. I was told I did not need to return the product to them. I was told it would be cancelled, however I would be responsible for payment of the full month’s supply of ColoFlush. I paid that amount for the initial supply. In May, I received a second supply of ColoFlush and was livid. I called the company and reminded them that I had cancelled the order and they should not have sent me further product and definitely should not be charging me for further product. They apologized and said the order had definitely been cancelled. Just 3 days ago, I received yet another supply of ColoFlush. I immediately called my credit card company and told them not to honor any further future payments to that company because I had indeed cancelled the product order. I then called the company and told them what I had done. I am not using the product as it does not work!! I am so sorry I was duped into the “free trial offer”, and like others, I did fall for the CBS - Katie Curric video and advertisement!

    ColoFlush is a definite SCAM!!!

i personally haven’t had any problems similar to the previous posters. I read the fine print before i ordered it and understood everything regarding the trial and such. figured i would tryi for a couple days. I’ve simply decided to go with a different (healthier more economical) method instead so i am canceling and returning mine. I got someone on the phone immediately and the only pain is them trying to change the offers a million times up to discounting it down to about $20 to get u to not return. but i stood firm and was given my return auth # and instructions as well as getting the name and operator id of the guy i spoke to….. we’ll see how it goes from that point.

ColoFlush is a complete FRAUD. The product itself probably costs them $1.50 to produce and they charge $78.80. You could concoct the the same ingredients for pennies, although it would still be and ineffective treatment, you would avoid these horrendous charges. Impossible to get refunded.

DO NOT ORDER this product, you will regret it!

Threaten to go to the media ,that’s what I did and if they still don’t refund you do it. I also got through to their supervisor and refused to stop calling if they didn’t refund my money. All I lost was the shipping but I’m happy with that.

THIS IS A SCAM . . . i AM OUT $271.63. The company keeps sending me bottles not requested, charing my account and will not return my telephone calls or answer my e-mails. For medical reasons, I cannot take this product and would like a full refund ASAP. We are retired and on a fixed income. I need to return 3 bottles for FULL REFUND. Please help. Thank you.
