What is GNC X-12?

GNC X-12, made by GNC (as if I had to let you know that) claims that you will get "12 times more calorie burning after your workout" as well as to improve endurance and performance.  Though GNC stores can be found all over the country, are their products as effective as they are readily available? Is there any ingredient in X-12 that makes it any better then any other fat burne?

Proprietary Thermogenic Blend 238.34 mg -

• Caffeine Anhydrous
• Capsimax - Capsicum Fruit Extract
• Bioperine Black Pepper Extract

It looks like even GNC hides the ingredient concentrations behind a proprietary blend mix, which doesn't really help the credibility.  At any rate, the mix looks good at first glance.  It includes caffeine and black  pepper, which are known to boost the metabolism and help you burn more calories.  Capsicum and Capsimax, otherwise known as red pepper extract can also naturally boost your metabolism.  It is possible that these could help you burn a significant amount of calories after a workout, but with a grand total of 238 mg for all of these combined, this is a pretty weak formula.

GNC X-12 Conclusion

Although this product comes from a widely recognized company, its ingredients are pretty weak.  It may be the case that GNC just wants to avoid being associated with negative side effects often associated with stronger products, but the point is this is not nearly the most powerful or necessarily a safer solution for weight loss. I don't recommend it.
