life-cleanse-pillsDoes Life Cleanse Work?

Life Cleanse claims to be “an all natural, pure colon cleansing solution containing the ingredients and agents that are vital to fighting inner body bacteria buildup.” Life Cleanse is suppose to “break down deadly toxins, flush out excess weight, relieve constipation and bloating, increase focus and energy, and make you feel better and look healthy.” The questions is, does Life Cleanse really work?

Life Cleanse Ingredients

The Life Cleanse official website talks over and over about the amazing ingredients in Life Cleanse, but they fail to list even one ingredient the formula contains. This is ridiculous, do they really expect people to pay almost $90 on a supplement that’s a complete mystery? The only thing they talk about Life Cleanse containing is fiber, but they don’t list one specific about what type or how much. Fiber is important, but you should never pay this much simply for a fiber supplement. Especially when you consider your going to need fiber long term.

How Much Is Life Cleanse?

Life Cleanse offers a free 15 day trial, but you are really unknowingly agreeing to pay $87.13 after the trial period. Life Cleanse is extremely overpriced. You are also automatically enrolled in a monthly auto-shipment program that charges you $87.13 each month for an additional bottle of Life Cleanse. Cleansing isn’t healthy or safe to continue using long term, so why would they want you to use Life Cleanse month after month?

Life Cleanse Conclusion

I do not recommend Life Cleanse. You may lose some water weight from the laxative properties in Life Cleanse, but you are not going to see significant long term weight loss from this fiber supplement. Also, Life Cleanse is way overpriced, don’t waste your money.

Nothing free about this free trial!!!
This product did nothing but cost me $87.13. They were very hard to get ahold of to cancel future orders…By phone (automated system) or by web site as suggested by automated system….If it sounds to good to be true People it usually is. Save your money.

I bought the trial product on June 1, 2009 for $4.97 it wasn’t shiped to me until June 10th when I checked my banking account on line I found out I was charged an additional $2.50 international fee as well as a $78.37 charge. when I called to inquire about the additional charge I was given a brush off. When I told them I wanted to cancle my order they wanted to give me a 50% off in house deal.

Let me join the group and tell you this is a total sham. I had to change my credit card to get rid of these crooks. Too bad overweight and older women fall for this junk. Once we lose our hormones we turn to fat and these jerks play on that.
Too bad we don’t take all the money we spend on these phonies and give it to the Howeard Hughes Foundation to find a cure for overweight people and older women who cannot take hormones.
Personally I eat less that 1500 calories a day ( journal) and go to the gym everyday and run on the elliptical but at 65 my body refuses to lose weight. Good enough reason to fall for these things right?

This is a sales gimmick of the worst proportions. Even after you tell them not to send you any more stuff! they send you something else and charge you. I had to close my account to get them to stop.

I have also been robbed by these people. Their proposition is put together in a very compelling way (hundreds of great reviews) and unless you read the website T&C’s first, there is no indication about the charges that will be deducted from your card.

I took the ‘free trial’ for Life cleanse and Acai Berry Detox. P&P charges at 2x £3.70. Product charges - (over 2 weeks after my order) were 2x £75.13.

Total outlay £157.66 for 2 pots of stuff that have not worked for me.

What is worse, is that the stuff does not seem to work anyway.

    A scam? Almost certainly.

    To be avoided? Most definitely.

Not alone, everyone… thought it was a “certified” company, especially since they say they are Backed by Oprah & Dr Oz..
ordered the Free sample.. didnt recieve it till the 13th day of the 15th day free trial offer.. called to cancel it becuase the took out twice the amount of shipping. (2.97)
when i called to ask why they gave me a Fax to send my acct info to the supervisor who would return my call.. well its 8-6-09 been waitin since July 13th!!
I am sorry I bought into this whole thing.. its so deceptive.. really and it only hurts other companies who are legit.

I am ashamed I didn’t read the earlier reviews to see what a sham these people are!

What an easy way to make money and cheat people. I just experienced the same scenario as all the reviews above - I can’t believe I set myself up to be out $87.13 - especially in times like everyone is experiencing right now.

Let this be a lesson to myself and anyone else who reads this - DO NOT fall victim to this company. I don’t even know if the product works because I received it on day 15 - the same day as they dinged my credit card!! :(

I agree with you about this outfit, it is a scumbag, bottom feeding, parasite. Tried to reach by phone gave up after 3 hours. Finally got some idiot on chat–who confirmed that we were screwed. Not only did we not order all the stuff, they sucked money out of 3 accounts==to the tune of $600+.

Avoid these people at all costs.

I really wish I’d done my homework on this one. Nothing but a big scam. It doesn’t work and look at how much money they’ve made from a free trial that isn’t free. The free trial, international shipping fee and on top of that surprise! $87 charge. I just recently canceled and hope I don’t have to close my account.

I ordered on the 22nd of Aug and they charged my card for the S/H than charged 39.95 3 days later. I have had several calls from them wanting me to order more at a discount. They got very rude when I refused to give them my credit card number again and wouldnt let me talk to a supervisor and told me that they didnt want me as a customer cause I would cause lots of problems for them.

I was able to get ahold of someone at the number they gave me to cancel and got confirmation numbers also. When I asked for a number to file a complaint with or talk to a supervisor they didnt have such department.

I than called my credit card co. and they told me they had already put a block on my card a few days ago with this company cause they have had so so many complaints about them. After the block they had still tried charging 49.95 2 different days. They recommended me to cancel my card. They also told me that the company continues to change their name a little bit so they can try to get by with new charges under a new name.

I didn’t even order this stuff but it came to me via a different spelling of the word “cleanse” from what I did order. Some dufus in Inda is their cust svc person who as you’ve all said, continues to provide absurd excuses for the intl charges (funny, she said it was shipped from Hollywood Fl just like the bottle says), and wouldn’t canx w/out hounding me to change my mind. We all need to stop these people from ripping everyone else off. I sure as heck hope I don’t have to close my acct to stop them. Hopefully you’re reading this before deciding to purchase.

I suggest to all of you disputing the charges with your credit card company. You have 6 months. Unauthorized charging is a crime.

You up to 6months to dispute unauthorized charges with your credit card company.

Also cancel your credit/debit card ASAP, whatever you used. Or they will continue to trump up charges on your card.

What an incredible SCAM. The company only answered the phone after my trial period was up. Before then I always got the message “Call back during regular business hours”. After talking with a human today, they said they were open 24/7.
DO NOT ORDER from this company. You will be sorry.

    Hi,
I’m from Malta and I ordered this product. It has arrived but customs did not give me the product unless I provide them with a doctor prescription due to the laxative found in the product. This company advertise that it is also sent to Malta but I don’t believe doctors would be so keen in prescribing something which ingredients are not published.
I was angry to start with when customs in Malta refused to release this product but then again I thought what if I used this product without a clue of what it really contained if it has a substantial amount of laxative than its pretty obvious that a human being cannot take this every day.
Life cleanse we need to know what’s in this mystery product. Please stop taking advantage of people who wants to loose weight.
Looking at the name again does this product really cleanse our lives … we cannot be sure of this as its not even been tested for us to know of any side effects.
IF YOU HAVE GIVEN LIFE CLEANSE YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS PLEASE CONSIDER OUR REVIEWS AND THE ONLY WAY YOU STOP THEM FROM TAKING MONEY IS BY CANCELLING YOUR CREDIT CARD TODAY!
We might me fat or have that extra pounds we’d like to shed but we love our lives !

I was curious about the colon cleansing claims. But since I really hate going to doctors and I recognized that colon cancer is real I decided to give it a try after all I had a couple days to try and if not satisfied etc. I ordered it and Natra Pure as was recommended.
I cannot believe I did not see the red flag when the fine print said that the trial period began not from when I received the package to ‘try’ the product but from when the order was filled.
Then I saw a charge and I had not received the product, which I was supposed to be using in conjunction with the other product that I was already charged for, so I called the number and after several attempts I was able to ‘cancel’ the order since I had not received anything at that point. I was given a confirmation number and refunds dept was to be contacted and the lady apologized. They did pull the charges.
About week or so after that I left to visit my Dad for a while I was gone lo and behold the package was now delivered and by the time I returned, waited for the weekend to run off they slapped the charges back on my card and I was informed that even though I could not contact someone over the weekend I was still being charged for the product because of what was said on the web ad – and the fact that I canceled the order because I had not received the product? They did ship the order and according to the web terms I had x days from it was shipped to return the product. When I called they were offering to extend the trial membership but on asking the rep if they would cancel the charge and allow me to return the product he said I could return if want to but the charge remains since I did not return before trial clause – and yet they were shrugging me off by offering to extend the trial period.

There are much cheaper ways to get the same types of products with the added stress and aggravation!

I had the same prob. with the international charges and the prod. fee.
I got nasty and had to threaten them and got my money back except the international fee. I feel I’m still ahead.

I was really after the acaia berry detox and the “program” indicated you needed to do the colon cleanse/lfe cleanse together. I had to stop the colon cleanse altogether due to abdominal cramps and dirreaha. I dont know if any did any good. The acaia stopped but the bottles of colon cleanse keep on coming even after I checked the box for non perpetual orders on the intial order. Yes please dont get involved in this. Who the hell knows what is really in this stuff anyway.
