Is Lipo-6 the Best option for Weight loss?

Lipo-6, from Nutrex, has been rated the “#1 product for fat loss” 3 years in a row by Bodybuilding.com, one of the largest online supplement retailers. I am pretty sure that they base their ‘results’ off of sales revenue instead of how it has actually helped people burn fat and lose weight. Nutrex is a solid company, they make good products. But their products tend to lean towards the bodybuilder type, as evidenced by their bodybuilder endorsements. It is clearly not for the average person wanting to lose weight and is definitely not “#1″, but could it be work for you?

Lipo-6 Ingredient Highlights

Containing a 220 mg combo of caffeine and synephrine, this pill definitely has a lot of energy boost and should help you burn more calories while using it.  Synephrine is now a widely-used and safe substitute for ephedrine, but with only 20 mg here it is unlikely to give you that much more help.

As for the guggulsterones and yohimbine, there is a lot less evidence to suggest that they could help you lose fat significantly.  When guggulsterones have been shown to be effective, it has been in a higher concentration than included here.

Lipo-6 Conclusion

The advertising on this product is too sensational and exaggerates what kind of effect it could really have for the average person (what else is new, right?) but it actually has a few good ingredients and will definitely give you at least a boost of energy from the caffeine.  Aside from this, however, you really don’t get much with Lipo-6.  It is a lot weaker than it should be for $25.
