What is Metabolife AquaSlim?

AquaSlim, from Metabolife, is a simple fruit drink meant to suppress your appetite.  As you may know, the owners and operators of Metabolife have been charged numerous times by the FTC, FDA, and IRS for various charges, including tax fraud and ignoring over 18 heart attacks, 26 strokes, 43 seizures and five deaths of customers while using their products.  Though this product may be safe, will it work?

Metabolife AquaSlim Ingredients

The active ingredient here is remarkably simple - hydroxycitric acid (HCA).  The proprietary blend is basically HCA plus “SuperCitrimax”, which is just more HCA.   There have been some tests that show HCA’s ability to regulate blood lipid levels in mice, however there is absolutely no proof that it can help humans in this way.  It is important to recognize that less than 1% of products that are successful on mice end up being effective for humans.

Metabolife AquaSlim Conclusion

Though this product may taste good, it is unlikely to do anything for your weight.  I would not recommend it as a helpful aid to your weight-loss goals because it simply doesn’t have the ingredients necessary to get the job done.  It’s list price is seductive but they make you pay as much for shipping totaling $12 for one order.  It’s not that great of a deal either.  I don’t recommend AquaSlim.
