Is Pheninol a Good Way to Burn Fat?

Pheninol, a diet pill from Fusion Health Products, claims the “unique ability to help you feel better while you lose weight.”  There is definitely something attractive about that, but usually products are good at one thing and marginal at the other.  The question is whether Pheninol is more of a way to feel better or more for losing weight…or neither.

Pheninol Ingredient Analysis

First of all, the whole compound is standardized for 100 mg of caffeine, which is explained by the theobromine and guarana (both caffeine-like sources).  Aside from the caffeine, you will find methysynephrine and synephrine HCL, both stimulants related to ephedrine.  Each of these stimulants should give you a decent energy boost, but the product label doesn’t say how much synephrine is actually in it.

Okay, so if by “feel better” this product means “feel more alert”, then this product checks out.  It may make you feel even too alert.

As for weight loss, its key ingredients Phenylethylamine HCL and R-Beta-Methylphenylethylamine are a little bit weak in their relationship to weight loss.  Though they have some good stimulant and mood-enhancing qualities and are, in fact, found in chocolate, they are not really as expensive as this product seems to imply with its $70 “sale” price.  In fact, none of these ingredients are worth that price given that they are not directly related to weight loss.

Pheninol Conclusion

You can find cheaper products with the same ingredients and in better concentrations, but if you really want to pay $70, Pheninol should give you some energy with each pill.  I wouldn’t expect any sort of miracle weight-loss.  I would look for a product with more research behind it and for less money.
