Will VPX Meltdown Melt Fat?
Meltdown, by VPX Sports, claims “university” evidence that it is more effective than ephedrine. This begs the question – why do you need proof that you are better than a product that causes serious health problems? Most of the effectiveness of ephedrine was due to its combination with caffeine anyway. The real question is not whether Meltdown is more effective than ephedrine, but effective enough to consistently help people lose weight safely.
VPX MeltDown Ingredients
The proprietary blends included in Meltdown are labeled as follows…
- Fat Catabolizer/ Beta-3 Potentiator – Caffeine, a-MTTA, Yerba Mate Extract
- Lipolytic Trigger – cyclic adenosine monophosphate
- Super Synephrine Beta-3 Activator – methyl synephrine
- Iphoric Potent Methyl Beta-3 PEA Matrix – R-beta Methyl PEA, N-Methyl-beta-PEA,
- NorEpiphex Andregenic Blockage complex - Yohimbine
- NorEpiphex M-MAOxidizer – methyl hordenine
This looks pretty much like patented word vomit to me with a few good ingredients thrown in. I can only assume this is just to make the product seem more effective than it really is. The main ingredients here are basically caffeine, synephrine, and methyl hordenine. Though the exact concentration of each of these is unclear, this is a mix of stimulants and is likely to be pretty powerful. It may help boost your metabolism and burn more calories, but it is not obvious that this is a good formula to help you significantly in your diet and exercise program.
VPX MeltDown Conclusion
From what I can decipher from their ridiculous patented proprietary blends, the main ingredients here are actually pretty good, but not to the tune $40. I can see this definitely giving you a boost of energy, but by no means does this seem to be a well-rounded approach to fat loss. I do not recommend VPX MeltDown.

I started taking meltdown in november 08 combined with 1000 mg of b12. I also go to the gym 5-6 days a week with cardio at least 5 days. Now I dont know what helped me most but I have to give meltown some credit because I lost 45lbs since november.
I have tried a lot of fat burners and by far this one has been the best for me. I felt the energy right away and flew thru my workouts. As of right now I only take one a day but I am very happy with the outcome so far. I also try very hard to eat clean and work out at least 6 days a week. I will update my comment in 30 days.
i have been taking liquid meltdown for about 3 weeks now, and my workouts are more intense and it makes me very thirsty so iam able to drink lots of water through out the day! i love it!

I have been using the meltdown liquid product for some time now I am very happy with the results. Its the only thing that gives me energy but does’nt cause me to feel nauseated. My weight used to be something that fluctuated constantly and I have no problems now. The only complaint I have is since I started using this product I noticed an increase in acne Idk if its related but I hope not

I have been taking this product for about a week now. Was recommended to try 1 the first day, 2 the 2nd day, and 3 from the 3rd day on. I’ve been losing weight pretty quickly. Have had some slight jitters, but not as bad as when I took stackers, or if I were to drink an energy drink. Enough to keep me happy and energetic, but not nervous, nor am I losing too much sleep. No weight loss product alone can guarentee you will lose weight. You must also exercise and eat healthy, and these products will only further enhance the effect of that.
i am writing because i just love this dietary supplement. it has helped me have more energy, i am always in a great mood, and i havent gained weight even though i havent been to the gym in 2 weeks. i remember always wanting to take a nap after work now i am always ready to do something. i feel so much happier, nothing bothers me, ever! thanks to vpx meltdown and all these ingredients that helps me be better. also it helped me sexually too. i only take 1 a day but my husbands takes 3 a day and he says the same thing and i notice alot of changes in him too.
1 90 cap cycle over the past 2 months. I typically take 2-3 a day in the morning before breakfast. I have been slacking at the gym, only going twice a week and my cardio regiment has been down. I have lost about 5lb and have cut up.
I love VPX Meltdown. I have been taking it for about 3 months now and I only take 1/2 a bottle before my morning workouts. I am able to workout longer and I am more motivated. Where I once worked out 30 mins and 2 or 3 days per week, i now work out 1 hour+ and 4-5 times per week. I don’t weigh myself but my clothes fit better and some are actually falling off of me. I was taking Meltdown for about a month and was on a very strict workout schedule, and ate certain amount and healthy food. It did nothing for me maybe others have better luck but it did NOTHING for me.
Today is my first day on meltdown. I must say I have I lot more energy and I’m so happy. I’ll write back in a week to see if I have lost any weight. My goal is 45lbs.
